Zlatko, or Z, as he calls himself, is an absolute ray of sunshine - always smiling, laughing, and willing to make a new friend. He has no shortage of confidence and is quite flirty as well, boasting a presence that is hard to ignore. He's sure to put a smile on anyone's face.
One conversation with the overtly Lominsan man is all one needs to deduce that he's... not particularly wise. Young and impulsive, this bright inventor yet has many things to learn about the world.
And learn, he will! He may not be wise, but he is deceptively smart. If there is a will, there is a way, and he will find it. He is headstrong and unfazed by failure.
Appearance
Z is an average height among Hrothgar, clocking in at a comfortable 6 fulms, 8 ilms. He is brawny and wide, boasting a bulky frame beneath his fluffy fur.
Unsurprising in the life of an engineer, he is usually decorated with various smears of grease and grime. The smell of oil is practically glued to his fur, but for the most part, he keeps up a mostly clean appearance!
His eyes are a vibrant golden amber, a stark contrast to his otherwise neutral features. They do, however, pair nicely with his plethora of golden accessories. Under his eyes sits streaks of bright turquoise face paint. Seems this gearhead has quite an eye for aesthetic!

Tech Enthusiast: Made evident by his experimental rifle, Z has built a small reputation as a purveyor of curious wares around Vylbrand. He has a deep admiration for Allagan technology, and even possesses a few Allagan trinkets!
La Noscean Local: Z is regularly spotted in Limsa Lominsa selling weapons and wares to vendors. He currently lives in Mist and was previously a longtime resident of Swiftperch.
Body For Hire: Z seems willing to help anyone and do anything for the right price! How delightfully vague! Some crudely scribed fliers can be found in Eorzea's city states, with the majority being in Limsa Lominsa.

chapter 1: Hempen Shackles
Z's youth was wrought with turmoil and hardship. Separated from his family and clan in the wake of war, he was subject to the uglier workings of the world and found himself held captive aboard a pirate ship.He eventually laid claim to his own freedom, and fate deemed him begin anew in Vylbrand. There, he built a life for himself as a fledgling weapon and gunsmith, selling his wares to would-be adventurers and the Maelstrom and settling in Swiftperch.

After making a name for himself, Z carves out a comfortable life and perfects his craft, drinking his worries away and indulging in life's... various pleasures in a glittering display of hedonism.As the years go by and his wealth grows, Z finds himself in the ownership of a plot of land in the Goblet where he builds the home and workshop of his dreams. What more could the once-lost soul ask for?

Over a decade has passed since his new life began, and Zlatko has continued to live free of worry. This period was also free of change; the passing years became a blur of routine and monotony, and he was none the wiser.In his efforts to craft his magnum opus, a heavily experimental 3-in-1 rifle, Z unexpectedly found himself embarking on a journey to procure a specific material. Smitten by the spirit of adventure and his companion, Orion, Z left his life of lethargy behind and set out anew to see the world.
